Baby is the size of an onion!
I’ve been on spring break this week, which is awesome. I feel like I’ve gotten so much accomplished.
I went to visit my family and friends in my hometown last weekend, and had a great time. Another high school friend is pregnant with a boy (due in June), so our friends had a mini baby shower for us. 🙂
My mom and I did a ton of shopping. We bought a bunch of baby boy clothes at a local resale shop, and a few new things from BRU. We also bought this crib from IKEA, and this window valance from BRU. My grandmother gave me a rocking chair that belonged to her uncle, and we ordered new cushions for it, which came in today. (See the new inspiration board below for a picture.)
I’ve also almost completed the registries. (For the record, after playing with car seats at BRU, I changed my mind again and registered for the Chicco instead of the Graco. lol) I’m still trying to decide on a few things, like whether or not I REALLY need a changing pad to put on the dresser. (I’m just not sure I will be taking the baby into his room for every change, but I wonder if I will regret not having one…)
The nursery (which we were using for storage) is mostly cleaned out. That was my project yesterday. There are a few boxes that DH needs to go through this weekend, then we can start looking at paint colors. Tomorrow, the flooring company that did all of our laminate, is coming in to do the last project (tile in the master bathroom, FINALLY!).
I have my next dr appt on Monday afternoon. Last week, I did the bloodwork for the AFP and repeated the thyroid test. Apparently, my TSH levels are still on the low side, but not low enough to be considered hyperthyroidism. My doctor said we’ll just keep an eye on it, meaning we’ll repeat the bloodwork again in 6 weeks or so.
