Baby is the size of a banana!
Heartburn has returned…yay *sarcasm*
I’m kind of at a loss for what to do at this point. I need to meet the pediatrician my SIL recommended. I’ve started looking at day care options, so I guess I need to make some phone calls and get the ball rolling on that. I need to pre-register at the hospital soon, too. Anyone know if they usually need pedi info for the pre-reg, or do I just give them that info later? If all I need is my doctor and insurance info, I’ll take care of that this weekend (I think I can do it online) and be done with it. (Most people don’t have a pediatrician picked out for their first baby at 21 weeks, right?!)
On the fun side, DH and I went to Target and found a rug for baby’s room. It’s nothing fancy, just a simple dark blue rug with a subtle stripe pattern, which I think will tie in nicely with the other items we have picked out.
I still can’t decide what to do about the wall color, though. I’m almost reluctant to paint the walls anything but a neutral color, because there is so much color in the pillows, lamp, and other accessories. I’m afraid it will be overwhelming. I don’t want to paint the walls lime green (DH would never go for that anyway). There’s already a lot of the light blue going on (sheets, rocker cushions, pillows, etc.), so I don’t want to go with that. The only dark blue in the room is the rug and stripes on the lamp and valance, so maybe a darker blue accent wall and a neutral color on the others? Hmmm…
