Get Fit Update – Weeks 6-9

I’ve been terrible about updating on my weight loss. Actually, I haven’t been good about updating this blog in general, but especially about the Get Fit Challenge.

With the exception of week 8 (where I gained back almost 2 lbs! *sadface*), I have been losing for the last 3 weeks.

So, at the end of Week 9: my total weight loss is 8.4 lbs. or 6.13%. There are still 8 weeks of the challenge left, and I have about 9 pounds until I reach my goal. Totally doable!

My August baby – 6 months

Scooter -

That’s your new nickname because you scoot backwards now when you’re laying on your tummy.  You are so desperate to crawl like the big kids at daycare, but haven’t figured out how to get your knees under you yet!  You roll from front to back (and vice versa) effortlessly now, and you are getting better at sitting up unassisted everyday.  Let the babyproofing begin!

You’re also a little “talker” (gee, I wonder where you get that from!  lol)  Mostly “ba ba ba” and “da da da”, though I don’t think you’ve associated “da da” with your daddy yet.

Our introduction to solid foods is going well. We’ve add sweet potatoes and green beans to the list of things you will eat, though you weren’t crazy about the green beans at first…

It’s so fun watching you grow up.  I can’t believe you’re halfway to ONE!  Time is going by so fast…

I love you so much!
