Little man –
Your 15 “month-day” was yesterday, in the middle of a fun Thanksgiving weekend! I can’t believe how fast you’re growing and changing!
This month has been a rough one. You’re been fighting a perpetual “daycare cold”, AND more teething, so you’ve just been a cranky-pants. You’ve also started a new fun activity where you scream bloody-murder if you don’t get your way, which has me already wondering what I’m getting myself into when the “terrible twos (and threes)” hit! Your wish of being an only child just might come true! lol
You haven’t learned any new words, as far as I can tell, but you love to have conversations with me in “toddler-speak”. Your favorite toy is still a ball, ANY ball…and anything that is remotely round IS a ball. An acorn…a balloon…etc.
Everyone thinks you’re destined to be an athlete. You can easily throw and kick a ball. We’re still working on catching.
You have also become very “helpful” around the house! You like to sweep (push the broom back and forth across the floor), unload the dishwasher (you take clean spoons out and put them in your mouth, bang them on something, or just leave them on the ground), and do laundry (by taking dirty clothes from the laundry room floor that I’ve sorted, and putting them in with the clean, wet clothes that need to be dried in the dryer).
You are a handful, but so much fun! I’m so excited about Christmas this year (since you’ll actually be awake for it this time!)
I love you!
(He hasn’t had his 15 month well-check yet, so these stats are based on my own measurements.)
Weight: 25 lbs. 5.6 oz.
Height: still 30 inches
Pants: still in 12 months
Shirts/Onesies: 18 months
Shoes: Size 4.5 or 5
Diapers: Size 4
Teeth: I have no idea. I can’t get you to open your mouth without risking being bit! I know you have seven in the front (four on top, three on bottom), and I think you have a couple of molars coming in – so I’d guess nine?
Likes – Pretty much everything!
Dislikes – Not a huge fan of cauliflower
