December Baby – 14 months

Happy 14 months, sweet boy!

You are growing up so fast! You can now kick and throw a ball, which is lots of fun when playing with big brother and the dog!  You’re also becoming quite the little helper…you love to “sweep” with a broom. And, when you hear music, you dance (bouncing up and down).

You have 8 teeth (4 on top and bottom). You’ll eat almost anything I put in front of you, but you love fruit the most (especially strawberries and blueberries).

I love you so much!

You have 7 teeth (4 on top, 3 on bottom), and can now feed yourself with your hands. You hate to be spoon-fed ANYTHING! You’re also no longer drinking formula or using bottles!

You can point to what you want, and shake your head “no”. You’re still a huge fan of toys with wheels, as well as containers you can take stuff in and out of.

    December Baby – 10 months

    Happy 10 months, sweet boy!

You are constantly on the move! You’ve been cruising for a while. Now you are very briefly standing on your own, and you can walk if you are holding someone’s hand.

You finally have your two bottom teeth, and are a great eater. You love chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese.

You’re really good at jabbering things that don’t sound like actual words, but that’s it. I’m not surprised, though. As much as your brother talks, you won’t be able to get a word in edgewise!  Haha

I can’t believe how close you are to being one!  I guess it’s time to get to work on your first birthday party!

I love you so much, little guy!

    • Puts objects into a container – Yep, over and over. Lol

    December Baby – 9 Months

    Sweet boy –

You’ve become a lot more confident in your mobility this month. You prefer standing to sitting now, but you still have to hold on to something for balance (at least with one hand). You can also lower yourself from standing to sitting without falling down!

You’ve also found your voice. You do lots of jabbering, can say “baba” and something that sounds like “yes”, but not “mama”or “dada” yet.

You still don’t have any teeth, but I keep thinking that one’s going to pop through any day now.

    I love you!

    Five Years Old!

    Little man –

Five years old. I can’t believe it.

Last year’s interest in superheroes was fleeting. We are now knee-deep into the worlds of Pok√©mon and Minecraft. That’s what the big kids like, after all.

You are a great artist and storyteller. (You obviously get this skill from your father.) You’ve excelled at swim lessons this summer. In May, you didn’t even want to put your face underwater. Now, you love to wear your goggles to practice swimming in the bathtub…lol

You have one more year of Pre-K starting this week. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

    Love you lots and lots!
